Hello everyone? My son is geting his first cham, but we have 2 choices. I know people kinda frown on crosses. First type sire is ambilobe x ambanja and female is capt est or second type is ambilobe blue bar, both parents are ambilobies. Any one have an idea what the first type would look like? Its the first time the breeder tried this and he's not sure either.

Dam sire on top and sire on bottom. Dont know if this helps.

I’ve only had an Ambilobe Male about 1year old and now I have an Ambanja about 1year old now too. They say Ambanjas take longer to develope so I’m still looking forward to the colors, but my Ambilobe from day one started showing all types of different colors! I would say go with Ambilobe for your first one.

Here are my favorite ambilobe/ambanja crosses "Vito" & "Vossen" They belong to ChamLB. Vossen is in his winter colors. Not all of this cross showed these colors but many of them did.

Vito looks awesome! I am definitely going to have to get my hands on an Ambilobe/Ambanja cross. Thanks for sharing! In that picture Vossen kinda looks similar to my Ambanja Smurf.

With locale crosses, you really get a 'wild card' as far as looks go. My panther is several locales and I picked him because I wanted something different that could show the many variations of panthers. He looks pretty similar to his sire (Tormund Giantsbane) and has a myriad of color combinations.

:)Thank you for your info and pics, he decided on the ambilobe bb. A few more colors. If it was going to be mine I would go with the cross, they look abit different and the waiting for the colors would be exciting to see.
