you can put a layer of sand and fish gravel at the bottom on the pot, and it helps it drain much faster and easier. Thanks guys, hoping the bromeliad doesn't die from over watering from the mistking I somewhat have it placed out of most of the mist so we'll see
I don't know why I haven't done this already!you can but a layer of sand and fish gravel at the bottom on the pot, and it helps it drain much faster and easier.
I've drilled holes in the sub tray leading to a cage water tray from lllrep that Is fed into a storage bin. The floor of the cage drys out between mistings, I had a problem with standing water when I first put this together as I didn't have enough holes drilled into the sub tray, I just waited until it was cleaning time and drilled a lot more and now the cage floor drys out fairly quick and yes I can't wait for the pothos to fill in to add some more cover and vertical climbing runways.I think it looks pretty good. Once those plants fill in it will be great!
Just curious, what are you doing for drainage? I don't like sitting plants on the floor of the cage because it makes it harder to clean.
Well that works. I like it.I've drilled holes in the sub tray leading to a cage water tray from lllrep that Is fed into a storage bin.
