this blog has lots info bout handling and taming your cham https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/psychobunny/746-taming-chameleon.html
personally, i think its best to start out slow. when i brought my cham home, i let him settle in to the new enviroment for a couple days and then started handling him. i would put my hand in the enclosure next to and slighly underneath the foliage he was on and allow him to climb onto me, them slowly take my hand out of enclosure. i would hold him for bout 3 mins then let him back into the enclosure. did this every day, slowly increasing the amount of time i held him so not to stress him too bad :) definitely check out the blog its amazing!

Thanks for the advice so im probably handling her to much then... an im trying hand feeding but she wont really eat infront of me at the mo so I suppose ive got to give that time... an ill have a read of the link!!! Thanks for ya time!!!

Honestly as far as taming goes, it all depends on your chameleon really. I got lucky with my baby Isabella(who I no longer have :() and she turned into a sweetie :) But I honestly worked with her for about an hour everyday and during the summer brought her outside and let her perch on me a lot. Just small things like hand feeding and letting him get accustomed to you really help. But be honestly it can really be a struggle if your chameleon "Hates the world" lol Some tend to just not adjust to people and hiss and gape, but with hard world and like you said having lots of patience, you will accomplish it, just takes time

Thanks for the comment an im real happy with the way things are going shes just ate a locus out of my fingers for the first time!!! An ive only had her 4/5 days so there is sum trust there....
