Anybody else have an issue with getting silks

Anybody else having issues with getting silks from Mulberry farms lately? I just placed an order, they had computer issues, and over sold their stock. Now I'm out of luck and was refunded the $$$ which doesn't do us any good when as a chameleon keeper you are counting on those....

I buy from Coastal too but they are also out. Real random when they are in stock.

Is there a third choice?

your from ontario, try recorp inc. never experienced shipping from them usually just meet in georgetown to pick up my stuff. never had problems with bugs running out and last time with my $300 + of various feeders he threw in approx 1000 silk worm eggs free of charge.

theres also the CRBE next weekend if your around should be able to find them there. recorp should be there and guy running the booth his name is Gary.

silkworms

Thanks for posting some of the sites for silk worms. I would like to try them and then see if i can grow them myself also. Will start here and then let's see what happens

Thanks folks. I'm in California just FYI.

I looked at blackwater and those have to be the very most expensive ones I've come across. I'll pass.

I'll look into some of the others

It's true, they're expensive. But they're the only place I've found that they're not always out of stock...

I have been trying to get silkies for my stubborn boy, but no luck. Let me know if anyone finds some at a decent price.

I'm getting a colony going. I could hook some people up in some months maybe... that's the best I got

I have always had issues with the suppliers being out of stock! A lot of the time they would al be out!

I ordered from coastal, came in great (they came from Jacksonville). Ordered again and this time they came from Cali, and even with two day shipping and an ice pack, all but 2 died (I ordered 50 Small's, but you really get 70+). Ordered AGAIN. And they came from Jacksonville, all alive, I counted 103 (again, ordered 50). I wish you could tell which store is sold out before you order... They just can't survive from Cali to S. Carolina on a two day ship.

coastal seems to have them. I received a pod with 50+ small/med just last week. just placed an order for more...

Had a problem getting them early this week. Lindasgonebuggie is where I get most of my worm feeders, and she usually has a pretty steady supply and reasonable shipping/packages.

I just reordered 50 again and I have them in their box and all of them have survived and growing. I counted 102 of them! (From Coastal)
