My lil Veiled Gizzmo likes to sit INSIDE his food bowl. He will sit there for hours just looking out, off the bowl. He acts like he wants more food. Does anyone else's cham sit in the food bowl?
He also likes to play games with his water but shooting his tounge at the roof of the cage where it drips down. Tried to reposition the dripper multiple times on to drip on to different leaf's and branchs but he much rather just play this weird game.
He is also the only cham i have that prefers to either sleep on the side of the cage wall or stright up and down on some branch in the cage.
To me all of this is beyond odd. But if he is eating and drinking and exploring then i assume its his way of having fun??

My panther doesn't sit in his bowl, lol. But he does shoot his tongue sometimes at the water. :)

well my chameleon likes to sleep with his chin resting on a vine :) maybe your cham just enjoys sleeping vertical, maybe he knocks his water around to make you angry

Haha thats funny. So the water thing is a norm for chams i assume.
I just think the food bowl thing is the weirdest thing. Thought it was a one time thing but he continues this behavior everyday now.
Oh and that wire is his probe by the way, I wanted to know what the temp was in this wonderful bucket. Checked with my temp gun as well and he loves this lil 85 degree food dish

Hahaha, i find this to be quite funny.. Dont know why he does it, but as long as he is active, eating and drinking, he is fine:)

Brilliant photos! Our cham has stared at her empty food bowl (after her first mealworms) for a good 20 mins, but never actually hopped into it before :).

Update this morning

Haha thank you everyone for that, all this comic relief.
Just an update on him - this morning he decided to pick a shriveled up old hibiscus flower instead of the nice fresh hibiscus flower in his enclosure. What he saw in this crunchy tasteless treat I may never know.
