Anyone ever cooked an infertile egg?

I'm pretty sure I've seen it mentioned here before but it was all talk. No one I saw had admitted to doing it. So if you have...please share. What was it like? If my ambilobe turns out to be female! I promise on here to cook up her first infertile clutch and post pictures :) Scrambled of course ;)

I did this with a clutch of infertile snake eggs.

I'm not a particularly good cook-they turned out pretty unsavory...but I think they could be made passable.

Note that seaturtle and other turtle eggs are quite highly prized-but the yolk/white is a different composition allowing it to be made into flour in latin american recipes. I fried and hardboiled the eggs. The hardboiled ones had a very powdery texture to them. They did not have much flavor.

That's the only way I keep my bodybuilding diet on point, chameleon eggs! Full of protein and amino acids vital for muscle growth! Great for breakfast and a great pre workout snack!
Lol no I just use chicken eggs for that but I'm curious to know what that would taste like, as taboo as it sounds. I would be worried about other parasites/bacteria that the eggs may contain. Although cooking should eliminate this threat I still would be cautious.

And how about give them to the dog? :) Eggs (chicken eggs) are healthy for dogs. But should they be boiled then?

lol someones gotta do it first, next one with eggs! and pics or it didn't happen :D Jesus i hope my female doesn't lay eggs soon.

I promise to you all (and I never break a promise), if my panther turns out to be female, as stated before I will cook her first infertile clutch (which it definitely will be bc I don't have any other chams and don't plan on breeding her anytime soon). I will take a video of the entire production and post to youtube, and you all will be the first to know! (well besides the youtube world who might see it a little sooner) ;)

I'm kind of looking forward to it! Call me crazy

Why would it be more gross than eating a chicken or quail egg?

Would the fact that they're laid in dirt make a difference? Can anything breach the outer membrane and leach into the egg, effecting it's taste?

Using them in homemade dog/cat food might actually be a good idea. Female chams go through a lot to make those eggs, so if you can find a use for them, then they, and their efforts, don't go to waste.

My rational is that chickens eat grains and grasses while chameleons eat crickets, cockroaches and worms... I can't imagine what makes up the egg to be very nutritious or tasty lol. Also lets be honest there is a risk of passing some kind of disease

The only thing I am worried about is getting disease and parasites. I wouldn't be so concerned with the taste or what it eats

A little cheese, ham, green onion...hmmm sounds pretty......................gross honestly :)

I know i am out in left ball field doing circles, slobbering on myself but there is no way i am eating an egg from a lizard.
EDIT: Money talks though!
