Anyone make feeder cups?

Honestly I just clean out yogurt cups, cut 2 small holes in the sides closer to the top, and slide a twist tie through the holes. Then I use that to attach the cup to a branch, or the side of the cage.

Does anyone know of commercially available feeder cups? Does anyone make them to sell?

There are so many options available around your house I wouldn't bother buying anything. You can use plastic deli containers, small food storage containers, plastic boxes, cut down milk or juice cartons, and custom fit them to your particular cage. I prefer using larger containers wedged in the cage foliage instead of a small cup. The feeders are more active and the cham has to aim and shoot a little harder which is good for their tongues.

Thanks for the tip! I used a thin wire to wrap it around a branch as a temporary fix. I may use a zip tie.

With a zip tie it's a little more permanent. With the twist tie I can remove the cups easily to clean them out. The twist ties last pretty well, and are easy to replace when I need another one.

I just have 2 small glass bowls. I have a few neodymium magnets from amazon and used those to make the bowls stick through the mesh. BONUS I can move the cup closer to the light by just pushing the magnets outside the cage. That makes the feeders wiggle more. After a while if there are still a couple feeders left I move the dish away from the light to preserve them a bit. I like the mobility of it. Sometimes my cham wont see the dish full of treats so I move it closer to them and watch them eat. I like its mobility!

Forum member "eats2muchrice" made these kickass feeder cups and is going to make the for other forum members. Check out his thread about them. They are the nicest cups I have ever seen!

Thanks for the compliment on my feeder cup, I will be making a few of these for members and will send chameleonlady a PM to see if she would like one.
