Anyone Willing To Take in A Panther For Free?

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm always concerned about situations where people want to adopt a pet, but admit upfront that they are not financially (or otherwise) prepared to take on the responsibility. This is often veterinary expenses, but I've also seen instances where someone says they'll have to "save up" to get proper lighting, housing (insufficient enclosure size) or can't afford feeding costs.

Am I nutz or shouldn't some folks wait until they've already saved enough to cover costs, expenses, and contingencies? (Or find a less expensive to keep pet)

I've waited 6 decades to do this—largely because I wanted to do it right or not at all.

Apologies for the rant.
Absolutely agree with you. So very many factors to consider when taking on the responsibility of any living creature...time, money, space, knowledge, etc. If one can not provide any of those things adequately, it is the animal that will be suffering.
