Just to clarify--the heat bulb and UVB are a 2 in 1 light?

Depending on how big those plants are, you might want to get some fake vines so you can connect up the plants and give him an exact basking spot without having to get your plants too close, as they'll burn up when too close to the heat.

You don't want that bulb. Use the dome for his basking spot - and just throw a cheap bulb in there of the wattage that you need to get the desired temperature. For my Panther, I use a 100watt bulb. For my Jackson's, I use a 40watt bulb. However, for the UVB/UVA, you will require a dedicated bulb and if you can get a tube over a bulb, even better.

Looking at the price tags on some of those items, I could find a much more affordable way of decorating the enclosure. I personally use one large plant, umbrella plants from Home Depot work great ($10.00ish), some pothos plants, and fake vines for $14.00 per vine from my local pet store. Beyond that, the dollar stores have some great bendable fake foliage if you need extra cover but if you buy a big enough plant you should be fine. I string the vines across the top in various ways and down into the plant. If you need to raise your plant up higher since you have a 48" cage, the dollar store carries stepping stools that fit perfectly in the bottom of the enclosures.

To each their own, just a couple tips to save some cash.

ive always heare the powesuns emit more uvb then a uv tube, i use powersuns on my tegus and monitors, but u will consider your ideas. Thank you very much

Yeah the powersuns are not the best for Chams. If you don't want to go with the t8, go with a double or quad t5 fixture with Arcadia bulbs, they are the best. You can also save money by getting your fixtures at Home Depot. Just get a fixture for a normal incandescent house bulb (basking) prob around 60 watts and then the uvb
