So I was planning on buying this in the next day or two, my question is, will I have a lot of spray outside the cage? When I hand misted it got everywhere (understandibly) but I figured since it was supposed to mimic rain would I even need to worry about my walls?

You get splatter on the floor which may bounce through the lower screen anytime you have drops coming down.

You can minimize the water that escapes by putting the raindome directly in the center of the cage and make sure there are lots of leaves right under it to catch the water.

If you have a drainage tray underneath the cage that goes out a little beyond the cage this will probably catch most of it. It varies with each setup so you will need to test it thoroughly.

You may be able to reduce escaping water even further by creating a custom dome from a single nozzle in a large cup and having it directly centered.
