Arcadia Euro-Range 5% - T8

so i got these bulbs to try out since it was time to replace my bulbs anyway. also helped that lightyourreptiles was having a sale and buy 2 get 1 free so i decided to try these out instead of the reptisun 5.0.

i noticed it was a little brighter than the reptisun 5.0. it wasn't a huge (like WOW!!!) difference but brighter nonetheless. the uvb readings were good and the fact that it's supposed to last longer and has a broader spectrum (6500k specifically) than the reptisun 5.0 was a plus. i already have a 6500k light for all my cages but the addition of the arcadia will benefit my plants.

my chams seem happy so i'm happy w/ the purchase. todd was great to work w/ and he does do a very good job of packing.

Todd really is fantastic to work with. He has some of the best customer service I have ever encountered. I accidentally bought the wrong size of bulbs and put a comment in my order about it.

He was kind enough to call me before filling my new order to make sure I was getting the right size this time. He even offered to have me return the lights for a refund but I donated them to a local animal rescue instead (which was perfect timing for them).

Thx! Yeah, todd is cool. I thought about switching to T5 lights but the cost to switch out all my cages is too much.

The T8 arcadias are pretty good. The pluses I mentioned in my first post were good reasons to try them out. The sale made it pretty much the same cost as the reptisun 5.0 so I'm happy.
