Are black bean plants safe for veiled chameleon?

I'm growing a black bean plant which sounds pretty lame but would like to know would it be safe in my chameleon cage?

Not sure which plant you are refering to. Can you post the scientific name?

I'm not sure it's the dry black beans that's you buy in a bag from the store. There called GOYA beans. I grew a plant.
