Are Millipedes toxic to chameleons?

There are a few small millipedes that live in the plant soil in my chameleon cage. I have left them there as they are beneficial to the soil and keep things clean. However, today I spotted a much bigger one, probably an inch long, crawling on the screen of the cage. Before I could move it, my guy came running and ate him. I am guessing it is OK since he was full and still very excited to eat it, but I want to make sure.

They are toxic, but as small as it was, he's probably okay. Keep and eye on him and make sure he's not doing anything unusual. My Jax has nailed a few box elder bugs which are irritating to mucus membranes, and he handled it okay. I can't imagine they taste very good though...

As stated, he'll probably be fine, there's nothing you can do about it now. I would try to get the rest out though. If you've ever kept or held a Giant African Millipede you would know the nasty acid they give off giving you an awful rash on your hands. I wouldn't be surprised if most millipedes do the same thing, albeit in a smaller dose. Keep an eye on him just in case, as I said before he should be fine. My previous panther grabbed a big carpenter ant before I could do anything, and he didn't get sick nor did he get bit. Things happen!

Thank you, I have removed all of the ones that I could find and my panther seems just fine.
