Are my chameleons eggs close to hatching ?

Hey guys it’s been a while out of 33 eggs I have 17 that were fertile but it’s been 108 days since they been hatched and once I candled one and it like holo you can only see the embryo and it’s veins but like white. And was wondering if the eggs look like they are about to hatch.

I incubated them at 80 degrees

Yes there veild chameleon eggs and I am incubating at 80 or 75 it change but I try to keep it constant and yes in the dark I am incubating them

At 74F constantly they should/would hatch at about 150 days so it's possible yours will hatch soon. They look like they may be starting to sweat. Don't leave the lid off for long when checking them...you don't want them to dry out and cause problems hatching.

Generally they start to sweat...develop areas that are no longer white as the shell thins and shrink in size...but this is not always he case.

I wouldn't candle them now...just my opinion.

This is what to look for...Generally they start to sweat (there will be beads of moisture on the outside of he eggs)...develop areas that are no longer white as the shell thins (the marks are usually goldish brownish) and shrink in size.

Oh ok thanks I don’t see them sweat yet but they are yellow now well turning yellow

I separate non-fertile and keep them just incase something happens later.
So, these are non-fertile which means they were yolk only and never had embryo.
The big one is a turtle egg that was laid on-top of the ground. The rest of the nest hatched 3 days ago.
The tiny egg collapse about 3 months into being laid and had a little mold growing on it. So I separated from other eggs thinking it died and added mold remover. After the mold stopped growing the egg regained its form and continued to grow. WEIRD! I know but I don't give up.
Here is the egg last month and now a tiny little baby. I mean tiny--- (<---------------> ) body that big. Smaller than some pygmy babies..

Your still about 2 months away.. Just read your april thread. (plus or minus weeks).
