They should be. I would lightly sweep away any of the loose particles before using, but there shouldn't be any major issues. I could see something getting into an eye turret as a possibility, but have not seen any reports of this. I would not think that anything would be ingested that could pose a risk.

I used them for my Crested gecko and he loved them , they can really get a sturdy grip on the vines . As for the particles i never noticed them at the bottom of his terrarium but they did come loose when i scrubbed them clean with a brush .

I've used them in my enclosure for two years with no issues. They hold up well and you can bend them to your liking. Although I noticed that too much bending will make the black stuff come off so I try not to move them around.

Ive noticed him with one of his eyes closed today!!! could he have some in his eye? Ive never seen him do this before :( :( :( :(

Hes acting very weird actually. Usually when I spray his cage, he goes running, but when i sprayed him right now he just stayed in place. I used some warm water and tried getting some in his eye to maybe help get what ever is in there out. Usually when he gets water in his eye, he will blink really quick but with this eye he kept it closed for way longer than usual when he got water in it. what should i do
