Ok do you SERIOUSLY think they would have a "military base" that heavily guarded? ive seen shows about it and its creepy, people literally watch you from on top of a hill, they have hearing meters, motion meters, its crazy!, i watched a recent documentary and its says that there hasnt been much activivty there and they think its been moved to Area 64 or something like that, very interesting stuff, and i know a guy who worked there, all he said he could tell me is they have stuff not from this earth.....weewoooweewooweewoo

Here's a photo I took a few months ago about 1/4 mile North of my house in Northwest Las Vegas, pointing directly North (towards "Area 51"). This is a background I used for something on my site, but beyond those mountains is where they consider that area to be. Not much to see unless you were flying over it (which you're not allowed to do). Everything from a paved road looks like desert. I find myself much less interested than most people, and I live about as close as anyone to the location LOL.

I heard they can smell a fart when in close proximity to the 'area' with all the sensors they have in the ground.

I don't know about that, but there's a few pig farms in Northeast Vegas that smell from miles away (I worked on a construction project near there a few years ago). Maybe when the winds blow North, they disregard those sensors. I tend to think that they hype up the security to keep people from trying anything.

Didn't they develop the stealth bomber there? They do develop alot of secret weapons there, that's why they are a high security base.

Yup, its just a secret weapons base. I think my dad has worked their for 20+ years, but all he ever told me is: If he tells me about what he does at work he would have to kill me. We have been overseas twice to Africa once to Kenya which I dont recall because I was a baby and then to Cair, Egypt during the late 80's early 90's. Good times.
