I agree and would not mist him directly, especially close up like that for fear he would fall and get hurt.

I agree that a dripper would be the best way to get water to your boy.

he has a dripper you can see it in the video im just misting to get the humidity up in the cage because his automatic mister broke. im getting a mist king soon! And it really isnt that close in the video it looks closer than it really is but im about a foot away from him haha. the dripper in the video is to the right of the screen. and is dripping.

I never spray directly (some mist will get on them but only from the side) because they don't seem to like it, much like yours doesn't...

It is still too close, because it is bothering him.

Is the water cold? My Rinty used to react a bit like that when he was little.......just use lukewarm water and go slower starting at his tail so it's not such a shock and he'll probably get used to it quite quickly

i can spray the cage and not even him and if a drop of water touches his tail thats how he reacts. his mister has been broke for like 2 weeks now so hes not used to it anymore getting it a few times a day now he gets it whenever i can get home still 3 times a day. and the water isnt cold at all its room temp and before his mister broke i used to randomly mist him and he would close his eyes and just sit there and let me spray him im not stressing him out.
