At what point can I stop worrying?

Hey guys, I hope everyone is having a good day.

Was wondering when I can stop worrying about my veiled? He seems to be doing absolutely wonderful- he's very, very active, he's gained amazing weight in the last few days, he loves to eat bugs, he loves nibbling schefflera, pothos, I watch him drink from his dripper all the time, his colors are always vibrant, he goes outside once or twice every day....

He seems to be okay.... I've read so many horror stories on this forum that it makes me sick. When can I stop worrying? It seems like every chameleon has a run in with a sickness or ailment at some point. Is it just genes? Husbandry 100% of the time?

Anyways.... I'm going to go give Gratch some morning sun, and remind myself of how well he's doing.

Thoughts?

All you can do it the best that you possibably can. Reshearch to make sure you are doing everything correct and then relax and enjoy your guy.

From what I can tell from the one picture. He looks good.:)

Everything about your chameleon looks good. As sad as it sounds as cham keeps we can never stop worrying, well not worrying but just being diligent about observing our chams for any problems to resolve them early. Lots of chameleons go through life without any type of problems, but the ones you hear the most about on here is when someone needs help. Don't take that to mean your cham will have problems.

Relax you have it under control, enjoy watching the growing up overnight.

Tyler, He looks great! Keep up the good work. As Laurie just stay on top of everything, relax and enjoy him.

He looks very healthy and well fed.
Chams do get sick ocassionly and I am sure a majority of the time it is due to husbandry and stress.

NEVER!!!!..no just kidding...your veiled looks great so relax and enjoy him!!!! I've had my cham a year and a half now...I just make sure to check him out really well everyday...make sure he's eating well etc. then enjoy! :):):):)

Tyler, i think he looks GREAT!!! he looks so much like Stanley, i know that they are brothers, but i wonder if they could be twins??? ;) j/k

Worry, for all the energy we put into it, is one of the most unproductive choices we make.....:D

I think the more you continue to worry, the more you will start to think something will always be/go wrong. Just sit back, enjoy him, and take care of him just like you are and everything will be fine. I can guarantee that once you just start to enjoy him rather than worry about him you'll have a much more rewarding experience with your cham! :)

All chams "expect" worry from humans. They feel it is their birthright.:D
