I thought I would share one of our other joys with pets...
Wife and I have been breeding Australian Shepherds for the last 4-5 years. These are the Pups from our 3rd Litter. 6 beautiful pups.

Now for my favourite (although they are all awesome) I nicknamed this one "Mine" wife doesn't seem to be catching on why I named it that . We have formed a bond in only 3 weeks...

It is always so sad to see them go to their new homes:(. But nice to see how happy they make the families or people that bring them home.:D

My husband's childhood dog was an Australian Shepherd. He still says he was the greatest dog ever. Yours are so cute- love the blue eyes!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.
@FlChamMom They are great dogs! But have energy! Although his eyes look blue right now, we have a feeling they will turn green or possibly bi eye (like his dad).

Silly pics, but here are Mom and Dad

Mom - Star - Black Tri - she has the most beautiful electric blue eyes

Dad - Neeko - Blue Merle - Bi eyes half blue half brown

I've had rescue Australian cattledogs for years. Talk about energy! Though I've been lucky to have mellower ones. Love their smarts and their "velcro" personalities. My current rescue is actually a Australian Stumpy-tailed cattledog (not to be confused with the "regular" cattledog that is supposed to have a full tail). Stumpies are the older breed, a lot less common these days, and naturally bob-tailed. Their foundation breeds were the English drover's dog called a Smithfield, and the Aussie dingo. My stumpie takes "velcro" to a new level...she's not only velcro she's a furry tumor.

Our male has a natural bob tail, but the female had a full tail, it was docked at birth. We dock the tails and remove the dewclaws on all our pups. Although some of them have already have a bob tail because of their dad.
