Auto misters and cup feeding...

So I'm a cup feeder and was looking into getting an auto mister(mistking group buy anyone?) and was wondering for those of you who cup feed and have a misting system, how do you deal with water not getting into your cup and drowning your feeders? Assuming your cham doesn't eat all the feeders right away.

I don't have my cage set up yet, but maybe angle the misters into the plant more, and have the cup a little bit higher?

Either position the nozzle so it wont spray in the cup, Or This is what i have done, but i dont have an auto mister, replace the bottom of what ever you use to cup feed with screen. Just cut out the old bottom and hot glue in some window screen (non metal)

Cut the bottom off the cup and replace it with screen.

Feeders stay in cup, water drains out.

i have a mister for sale! i need it sold soon too.. its like 1/3 of how mucch mist king cost..
only 75$ :)

ok this is my problem. i drilled holes in the cup (does a very good job actually!), but even with the mister redirected they still lose all of their supplement on them. thats the only down side i see. the only way to prevent that is to take the cup out as far as i can see

Put the feeders in right after the mister goes off, wipe out the cup first. This way your cham will have the most time to get his food before the supplements are washed off.

Have a roof over the feeder cup. You can buy bird seed holders meant for small bird cages, a cup with a half hood. Cut a hole in the side of a milk jug or similar. Better yet, use a dripper instead of a mister and avoid the water everywhere issue all together ;)
