I remember hearing people talking about spray bottles that are somewhat automatic here on the forum. I have a "pump action" one that hasn't been working for me at all. Can you give me the name of that type of spray bottle and where i can get it please? Thank you so much!

ebay-personal mister

i just bought one for $12 and it has a superfine mist and pressure last for minutes at a time on just a couple pumps, great product designed for cooling people, i just use to cool my chamy. and it wont soak your cage; even small ones( i have 18"x12"x24")

Hi Josh:

Could you give me a bit more information.....brand, etc. Also, where on Ebay did you find it? Sure would like to get one for my chammie too.

Thanks!

GO TO ebay, type in the search criterial " personal mister". it should pop right up with different colors to choose from, i paid round $12

but the bottle says personal misting system, go figure.lol but the mist was surprisingly very fine, i am very pleased with it. and for twelve buck shipped, cant go wrong.

twice a day i open her cage, clip the handy nozzle to the door and pump bout 3 times. the mister goes for awhile, long enough for me to get crickets, dust em and throw em in the cage, then replace the water drip dish, and give her a treat. so by then the cage is nice and misty.lol

I ordered a misting system from Misty Mate... It works ok but if I had my time back I would have stayed clear of that product. I don't suggest buying one.

Hey Ninja, How long does it last on batteries? I have 14 chams with 4 more coming. Will i have to replace them daily?

I highly recommend a small pump spray bottle over something battery operated. I use one similar to the one in my avatar.

$5-$10 at Home Depot or Lowes

i used one very similar, the mist was not fine enough for my small cage, it soaked everything within 1min.

for a bigger cage im sure it would be good, but for small enclosures you need something real fine.

I have used it for several days spraying several times a day and it is still going strong. I just wish the spray was more of a mist. My cage is only 24" X 18" X 24" so it gets wet pretty quick. I am waiting on my herpmist system http://www.herpmist.com/ to come from Jason but I'm wondering if he is out of town because I can't reach him. I need to figure out something for drainage as well.

Thanks Josh! I just bought one on Ebay for $5.95 plus $4.60 shipping. Can't wait to get it!

nice $10 bucks for a pump-super fine mister, let me know how you all like it, i know i do. and the cool part is, that you can take it with u on a hot day and its really nice, especially if you play golf and whatnot.

so its kinda double purpose, human and chamy mister.lol

might be buying me a spare.
