babies born!

they are very cute!

i had the same thing happen to me! i had 10 and still have 10 so it is possible to keep them alive. one of my big suggestions (having raised lots of pets and a couple of kids) is to let them eat as much as they want - always leaving a little extra. i just can't believe that food restriction in the early stage benefits anyone. i fed mine drosophila in the beginning - forget the pin head crix unless you really believe that the chams are premature and can't handle the 1/8 crix. the flies are probably easier for them to catch since they only crawl and can't hop far like the crix do. i also moved mine into a screen cage right away to prevent uri.

good luck - they are adorable!:D

Thanks!! I have a few cultures of the dropsophila's here since that is what I am feeding the rudis babies (since they refuse anything else). I have put some in the cage with them but have not seen them eat any yet. I hope they do well, but I know that the jacksons can be hard to raise.

well, new update! They began eating yesterday. I have not seen all of them eat, but when I put the flies in they do start going after them. I have seen some grab 2 one right after the other.

New Pix!! They are now 9 days old and eating and drinking! Still hanging upside down like bats. lol!

AHHH!! stop it with the updates! I'm a hairs trigger away from looking for a female for my little guy! I can't afford to watch baby jacksons every day! What are you trying to do to me?!?

But seriously these are absolutely adorable, congrats on such great looking babies!

oh! All are alive and doing well! Some are larger then the others. Eating like pigs! I will try to get some updated pix to post soon!!!
