I have a red bar ambilobe, hatched on Feb. I was checking him out and I noticed like a light spot on his side. He scratches at it and Im wondering what can that possibly be? I'd appreciate your guys help. Thanks in advance.

Do you free range the feeders for your babies? If so it could be a cricket bite thats bothering him. Cant really tell from that small pic but its a possibility.

Did you just get that little one? I would call the lady that sold that tiny little one to you and ask her to send a replacement. Also, I would inform her that there isn't such a thing as a Faylate Ambilobe.

Well, I am just asking because I had a recent encounter with a seller trying to sell "Rare Faylate Ambilobes". I asked them what a faylate is and they said a rare locale of Ambilobe.

I am sorry but there isn't a faylate ambilobe. The sire from Kammers isn't even named Faylate. Trust me your seller and I have gone back and forth over it and she swore up and down there is such a thing as a "Rare FAylate Ambilobe". Unfortunately, there isn't. Your seller even tried to tell me that she was making a new locale of panther chameleons by crossing a sambava and ambilobe. I explained to her that this would not be a new locale but a cross. She argued with me and said I was wrong. LOL

Im curious, did you ever get anything back from the seller? I havent seen anything updated on the BOI thread for a while.

To the OP good luck to the baby, hope it grows up healthy.

Well, I guess my reply isn't appropriate here on the forums. However, you can pm me.
