That is amazing! I think it's so cool that you caught the birth on film. Was the little one that fell to the floor ok? Poor little guy needed a parachute!

he was fine. They all were. 11 total. When I first saw the dark blobs on the floor I was half asleep and was about to wipe it up with a paper towel thinking "that is way too much poop for such little girl". That is until I saw a face poking out, lol.
She was pushing them out at one point while climbing the screen and I caught 3 of them in my hand to keep them from going all the way to the cage floor.

I wonder if in the wild some of them die from being delivered too high up and falling too far. That's got to be rough having your life start by falling. Cool video though!

Thanks for the comments! I would think in the wild they would have more leaves below them but the short fall to the cage floor did not seem to phase them at all.

Brian, very cool video, I enjoyed it very much!!! I think that the fall doesn't seem to hurt them as well. Many of my Jacksoni have hit the cage floor and seem to do just fine.
