Baby Not Eating ?!

Hey Guys :) I got my new baby veiled yesterday, :D, and he is enjoying his new cage and all, but right when I just tried to feed him from a deli dish in a rubber maid, he didn't want to eat, could this just be from the stress of a new place? He doesn't seem to mind being handled, and I know, I don't handle him alot. I tried feeding him flightless fruitflies, and then a baby cricket. I tried hand feeding the cricket, but he just turned and walked away, and he didn't show interest in the flies either, Thanks Guys :)

P.S. I'll post pics soon :)

*Edit* - Whoops, wrong catagory :p

How old is your baby? Allow him to get use to the cage without handling him for at lease a few days. Sometimes it takes a day or two for them to start eating. Have you seen him drink?

I'm not sure how old he is, but he's very little, about 2 inch body, I haven't seen him drink yet,

Dont try to hand feed. Put the food in the cage (or in feeding cup suspended in an appropriate place) and walk away. He's probably too shy to eat in from of you. Using a feeding cup for the crickets will help you see how much he is eating.

I just put him on my carpet with a cricket and he ate it, so that's good :) I'm going to try again later, because he only wanted one.
