Current Problem - I have had 16 eggs of panther chameleon and they are hatchling for 2 months. They start to eat, and after 3 weeks of live they start to close one eye and shortly later close next one. 3 days later baby is dead. My question is what is wrong?? and what you suggest to do ??

Are they sleeping during the day? Usually if they start to close their eyes during the daytime it an issue with your lighting. How close do you have the uvb linear lamp to them? Back off the light so that it is 12-16 inches away from them. You can also bring them in their cage outside and put them in the shade for natural uv light if the weather is warm enough.

you might be overdoing it a little with the d3 as well. i only give my lil ones d3 once maybe twice a month as long as i know my uvb is good.

bulb. is your bulb a spiral uvb light or a tube uvb? the spiral compact flourencent bulbs tend to blind reptiles. the long tube ones seem to work much better. im not positive what ur using but just a suggestion

yes, it is spiral UV and I use reptivite witamins.
I don't know how to put a photo, because my english is quite poor.
This morning I realised that babys are dehydrated and they drink a lot.
One of them became very weak and I am afraid of the worst.

disco reptivite at the moment....use plain phos free calcium with proper uvb lights. take the spiral off and get a linear tube. if the linear tube is not available get your little ones outside for some sun if the weather is permitting. also make sure you have proper humidity levels.

what is in your fruit fly media?

at this moment I turned off the UV bulb and left only heating one.
Tomorow I will install UV tube and we will see.
If someone has any else idea I will be glad for information

Thnks for your answers
