I recently the hatched out a clutch of Yellow lip Parson’s. Here’s a few pictures of some of these beauties. These will be available in the coming months. Hopefully I will also have calumma parsonii cristifer and calumma o’shaughnessy later in the year.

The last two pictures are of a male from my last clutch of YL to show what they can look like.

how long did they take to hatch for you mate? how many diapause did you put them through?

how long did they take to hatch for you mate? how many diapause did you put them through?

These went 24 months. I used two diapause’s this time. YL usually take 19 months or so to hatch. I was remodeling the house last summer and didn’t follow a strict incubation procedure so it took a bit longer this time.

Im curious.. what is a parsons typical personality/temperment? Compared to veilds or panthers? I love the shape of their heads and their eyes show personality kinda

I have a YL locale, have heard the OE's and others tend to have different personalities. Craig can probably answer your question better, but IME my yellow lip is very relaxed, and indifferent to me, a bit aloof at times. Doesn't seem to mind handling too much when I have to or me being around which is cool. I've heard a lot of parson's are more on the shy side.

On a side note, melleri and pygmies can be housed together lol, go figure one of the largest and smallest species.
