Baby raising table.

I have been working on expanding my baby grow out facility.:) I added 8 new cages.

It's been a bit of work to put everything together, finding plants, sourcing misting pieces, getting additional lights etc. The other side of the table has 8 more identical cages for a total of 16. After a disappointing interaction with my usual misting parts supplier I decided to switch back to Mistking products which I purchased from LLL Reptile.

I use coroplast to make wedges for the misting nozzles and to make dividers between the cages.

Finished cages. Plants have some growing to do but they grow really fast.

I'm going to be tapping into the main water line for my house and filtering the water to supply the water for the cages. I will post more pictures of this once I receive the parts and put it together.

Craig,

Out of curiosity, what age are you putting the babies in to this size cage?

I am using the smaller cages for 1mo-3mo olds and then moving them into this size cage for the grow out beyond that. Just curious if you are going straight to these or if you have a stage before hand.

Looks great!

I put the babies directly into these cages. I then split them into pairs and then individually as they grow. We can talk privately regarding the smaller cages if you like.:)

All of your enclosures are top notch!!! Your outdoor enclosure is to die for. The best I have seen!!! You can see a ton of thought and work go into your set ups.

I agree with Carol. They look so neat and clean. Everything that you make looks awesome just like your animals.

Craig, I was just about to send you another PM asking how you raise your little ones, this answers my question.
Very nice set up :)

Lots of thought went into that.

I assume, from the time stamp, you are on the West coast? Maybe CA?

Looks like a commercial breeder setup for sure. I like the clean look of putting the spline side inside the enclosure so you don't see it. I put mine on the outside for easy re-screen without taking the frame apart, but yours look better.

Nice job.

I love how neat and clean it all looks :)

Thanks!

My gosh! That is outstanding! No I want to see your cricket keepers!

Ugh Crickets lol. What's that smell?

Thank you Carol. The GOC is looking good this year. My pothos have spread all over and rooted in the ground.

Nice set up,very impressive !

Thanks Jurgen.

I never thought of doing it another way. I try not to tear my screen and have come up with a system that works well. Thanks for the comments.

I like the clips you used to attach the dividers. Finally, now more 'POW!!!' when i move a cage to clean it. I hate it when the divider falls. No matter how much i remember, it always happens the first two or three i clean. Thanx.

I try not to tear mine either, but usually do. Especially transporting to a vending /expo location or moving enclosures for cleaning. After a few times, I realized how I much easier it was to fix if I assembled it spline side out.
