Baby veiled chameleon keeps one eye closed!

I recently bought my first chameleon, and he has been doing fine as far as I know. He has been eating and drinking and sleeping well. But this morning I noticed when he woke up he had his left eye shut. And periodically he would sink it in and roll his eye around and bulge it back out. Anyone know what might be wrong? His other eye is perfectly normal.
her is my info:
  • Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
    Screen cage, 16X16X30
  • Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
I use a reptidome light for heat and an slime line linear bulb for uvb

  • Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
hot spot is about 81-83 degrees ferinhiet

  • Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? I most twice a day and also kee a dripper on

  • Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? I have a pathos plant and the rest fake

  • Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? Up heigh on my dresser
  • Location - Where are you geographically located? I’m in Texas

What supplements you using?
Have you misted her directly, or indirectly in the face. They clean their eyes like that. Fine mist too, not like a sprayer

I use repticalcium with D3
Also an update, I got home from work just now and both of his eyes were open, and I noticed shed skin everywhere...Do you think maybe the shed was irritating that one eye? He looks a lot better now

Do not spray directly when shedding... They are dry shedders and if you mist them when shedding the shed can stick to their body and have issues coming off cleanly.
