baby veiled chameleon rescue

I picked up this baby veiled along with 4 of its siblings. They were apparently 3 months old yet they have hardly grown at all from hatchling size. I hope their growth is not stunted after 3 months of not growing. They have all eaten and drank water I am just afraid they will be runts for life...

On a side note there were several dozen chameleons left but I could not afford to rescue them all....

Here are cell phone photos of one of the females...

She is adorable. If they are eating and drinking then hopefully they will be fine. I would feed them all that they want 2 to 3 times a day. Maybe they are only one month old or even just a couple of weeks old. I have noticed that some breeders say the chams are older just move them so they want have to buy feeders for them for another month or two.

Maybe try to mix up their feeders? I had two cham brothers, one who grew to a whopping 180g and one that was lucky to break 90g. He would have stayed tiny but I began offering different bugs as much as possible and his weight really took off.

I can see one or two per clutch being the runts but having four probably means what you were most worried about. Good thing is they are in your care now, and all you can do is give them a healthy life to hopefully get them putting on weight!

There is some funky genes in them that's for sure. Being translucent who knows whats going on genetically.
