Baby veiled legs

Can anyone please help me with my little guy (3months) he jumped out of my hands from about waist height and landed on the pool deck. I feel absolutely terrible about this and fear he is in pain. I have an appointment with herb vet but not until next Saturday. The poor guy is getting around but very gingerly, I guess my question is can anyone please tell me a way of administering pain meds and what. My gut tells me he’s not going to make it. Though he is still eating and drinking, I just really feel so bad for him. I’ve also noticed he’s lifting his front leg above his head. I just cannot bare to see him suffer. I’m not new to chameleons. I was just distracted for a second and he’d jumped. Now I’m heartbroken
 
Really sorry this happened! :( I am not experienced with pain meds or reptile injuries but I would ( if he’s not already) put him in a hospital bin set up just temporarily so you can monitor him. If he has any broken bones you don’t want him moving around too much or have another fall.
 
agreed with the above. I would call the vet and say it is urgent that you are seen. See if they can get you in sooner. To my knowledge there is nothing that can be done for broken bones. I am not sure what the vet would give for pain meds. I do not know if there is anything else you can do but try to make sure he is comfortable and safe along with getting him to the reptile vet asap.
 
I don’t know about pain management but you can help him feel contented. Ensure he is hydrated and warm. He can’t move around to thermoregulate and drink without discomfort so prepare a comfortable hospital bin with the right level of warmth so he isn’t cold.
Also have on hand a syringe for feeding in case he doesn’t drink or eat. And above all get him to an emergency vet appointment.

From those pictures, it looks like your baby has MBD. What kind of lights and supplements are you using?
Here’s a vet that has been seeing chameleons for many years. I’d call in the morning and tell them it’s an emergence and see if they can get you in tomorrow.

He’s bought from Fl Chams very reputable
 
The cask looks off. Are you using compact UVB bulbs? If so then you would have a much higher risk of MBD as the compact bulbs do not put out adequate UVI levels. This is why we recommend and use T5HO fixtures with the basking level 7-8 inches below the fixture and the fixture sitting directly on the cage top. Single bulb fixtures would need a 5.0 bulb.

I hope you are able to get him treated soon.
