this is him notice the four small bumps along his ribs thats why i brought him to the vet in the first place. you can only see these bumps when he is stretched out like this.

the container in this is where i leave the crickets so i know how many he has eaten. and i know that everything is close to the ground because that is what the vet had advised me to do.
the bumps are there all of the time they just arnt visable until he stretches out like that. i have never seen him falling but the vet said thats what probably caused the bumps and he has no signs of mbd i didnt even know he had it until i took him to the vet to find out what these bumps might be
Im not so sure your cham has mbd.
those bumps dont signify a MBD diagnosis.
the limbs are straight, he isnt falling, he isnt grabbing his own limbs, i dont see any of the typical signs of MBD.
I think you just need a good supplement schedule, and good gutoading.
you need a calcium without d3 for every feeding, a calcium with d3 twice a month, and a multivitamin for twice a month.
or get repashy all in one calcium plus, and use that on every feeding.
the bumps are either his ribs, or subcutaneous parasites.. do the bumps ever change spots?
I have an 11 month old female veiled who has beaten a BAD case of pneumonia after love, care and 5 weeks of Baytril. She too has one bump on her rib, in exactly the same place as your little guy. It has not moved, grown, irritated or hurt my Isis. My vet mentioned it is an 'anomoly' of the rib. *shrug* It doesn't seem to hurt her, so I haven't made an issue of it but I DO keep an eye on it.
ps. your little guy looks good! I also can't see any indication of MBD. As for the vines/branches...they do appear to be large for his feet. You may want to look into getting a smaller sized vine for his enclosure. Good luck with him...he looks strong and hearty...I hope he pulls through whatever is ailing him!
the bumps never move and the only reason i think he has mbd is because the vet said when she showed me the xray that his bones are not defined like they should be which seems like some sort of calcium deficiency right? she told me that is was mbd. i have looked into mbd before i got a chameleon and i never seen any of the signs either im just goin by what she said as she is the vet. i will get hold of all the right supplements tomorrow and his enclosure seems kinda dark since i took out one of his uv lights. he can still bask in it but it looks alot darker than im used to will that be a problem or is that just because im used to looking into a much brighter tank?
and if the x rays did show that, which id have to look at them to know, then yes its possibly a calcium defiency. but get the right supplements and all will be well.
and yes the cage looks darker cuz youi took a light out.
