Baby Veiled

I got my first baby veiled yesterday (4/02) and it doesn't seem like she wants to eat. I've tried mini meal worms and little cricket. I've noticed as of right now she's more bright green.
I'm worried that she's afraid to eat or something. Any tips?
She's in a screen enclosure with lots of vines and silk plants. I have a mini dripper to make the plants moist and I also spray the leaves when I notice their dry. I have a uvb light and a heat light.

Thanks :)
Yeah I found poop this morning but wasnt sure if it was from her being at the pet store or the meal worms.
The meal worms looked untouched.
Thanks for the advice!!

Mealworms are not the best feeder for chameleons. Along with crickets try Phoenix worms, small silkworms, very small Superworms and they usually love flies.

She is getting used to her new cage, let her settle in for few days, she shall start eating once she is hungry.

Okay thanks.
They sell dubai roaches at a pet store by my house so I'll try and see if she eats those.

Definitely get her on baby roaches when you can. It's just not about what they like it's about best nutrition. Roaches have way higher nutrition than crickets like 4 to 1. Worms are more like treats.

Define "higher nutrition." There isn't a whole lot of difference between roaches and crickets. The biggest difference will be related to the diet of the insects--the old adage, "you are what you eat" applies not only to the chameleon, but to the insect the chameleon feeds on.

I got a flightless fruit fly culture for my new babies. I can't believe those little specks are really worth it. Is that what I was supposed to be getting?

Also, I just checked out the phoenix worm site, for a baby veiled, do I need to go xsmall or just small? Here is the size chart:

Finally, does anyone have a supplier for the roaches? Those sound interesting. My supplier for crickets only sells hissing cockroaches. Too big for my little babies.

Thank you all for your replies!

I'd get medium Phoenix worms. Your baby needs crickets too.

BTW, the correct name of this roach is Blaptica dubia...they don't come from Dubai :p
Sort of like saying Canadian geese instead of Canada geese or saying respitory infection rather than respiratory infection.

OK, nit picky terminology police has gone back into its cave.
