I don't think my baby veiled is eating crickets. I have had him for two days. I think he is under 1 months old.

I responded on your other link. Please fillout the form to ask for help and tell us what your set up is like. Not eating is sometimes normal when you first intoduce them into a new environment but the closing of the eyes could indicate and illness or incorrect lighting, temps etc.

Welcome to the world of chameleons!
When you have more than one concern about the same chameleon, its best to keep it all in one thread so we can get the whole picture!

i got my cham 2 months old and he's eating great.....today i fed him wax worms, butter worms and crickets...... and its still not 2pm yet. its him first time eating wax and butter worms...didn't even hesitate to munch them down.

They did, but it wasn't in the normal formatting.
I have no idea how people browse sites link these on their phones, seems like a terribly annoying way to do it.

Aw,did I do it wrong? My comp broke a few days ago and I really need help so I had to use my phone. I hate using it. But just let me know how to do the right formatting / how I did it wrong and I will do it again. Thanks.:)

I am not sure you did anything wrong. You just had two threads going at once, that is all. Not sure if I understand what PSI is referring to. Has your chameleon eaten yet?

Ok. I don't think he ate, I can't tell since they are roaming and might be hiding. I will cup feed him tomorrow. Also he closed his eyes alot today and just sat. When I made a noise or tapped the cage he would look around then close them. I am worried.

I just figured out it's his left eye only. I may be going back to the store I got him from today , should I get any thing for him to help him out?

Same problem here:

I just bought a little male Chameleon which I have named Loki. I've owned reptiles before (box turtles, boa constrictor, 6ft green iguana, salamander) but its been years since I've had one. Loki just had that "save meeeh ladeh!" look. So I did. Not sure on his age but he's about the size of a quarter so I'd say a baby. I have him in a Exo-Terra Habitat Kit, RainForest and small which is 30 x 10 x 45cm/ 12' x 12' x 18. I've read this is small but I can't afford larger at the moment an its about 4 times larger than what she was in at the petsmart.I also have a 5.0 fluorescent light but to keep her warm and a UVB light to give her vitamin D. I've attached a heat pad to the side of her cage too because I don't want to take changed with temperature drop. She's got a large drippy plastic plant, a twisted vine and lil fern in her enclosure. So far is seems the crickets ( which are dusted with calcium powder) I put in there are all attracted to the side with the heating pad at the bottom of the cage in the corner. Loki has been sitting up in the top part of the cage and hasn't ventured down once. (I've had him for about 24hrs)...is he just adjusting to his new environment? I'm worried he won't eat and since he's so itty bitty he'll get sick and die quick. I've read now it was probably stupid to take him out and play but he just clung to my glasses and chilled out for about an hr before falling a sleep in the evening. He's got lovely lime green and yellow color. He only gets dark spots when he's mad. Am I being over protective? Will he eat?

Also I'm sorry for the double post. But he looks very droopy and color less and just unhappy. I'm very worried for the lil guy. Thanks.

Should I put saline solution in his eyes? That's what the guy said. He also said put a blanket over his cage to eliminate some stress.
