I would suggest getting a 5.0 uvb bulb. The distance would then need to be only 8-9” away, where the distance for a 10.0 is about 12”.

Neptune the Chameleon has a great video showing the different uvb bulbs and distances they each take to reach the 3.0 mark. You may also want to listen to the Chameleon Academy podcast on uvb for montanes (season4ep28) and the podcast on Jackson’s (season1ep17)
