I recently got a male 1.5 year old veiled from a friend where I lived and they gave me a whole set up with a 2x2x4 ft enclosure and a couple of lamps and the enclosure completely set up for him but I seem to be having a problem with the temperature especially with where his basking spot is, I now have 2 lamps 1 with a 75 watt bulb and the other with a 60 watt they both aren't sitting on the mesh they float about 3 inches above it and the highest spot is 3 inches below the mesh but he has another spot about 3 inches below that thats directly in the heat light but its only getting to about 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't know what to do to get his spot warmer because I seem to be running out of room to put lamps..:( any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a uvb bulb? My veiled is still a baby, 4 months, and I keep his at 86*. If no uvb bulb you need to get one asap. Get a digital thermometer where you can put the end in his basking spot and get a reading. If one bulb will get mid 80's you are fine.

I use one 100 w in the winter and I sit it on the screen cage and it gets up in the 90s. Try that

Yes I have a uvb bulb thats what the third lamp is I've also measured the temp in his basking spot with both bulbs.

Your ambient temps must be lower than mine are in my office, where Cham is kept. It's around 78 day time in here and with just one 60w in a clamp enclosure I get a spot 8" away upon about 90
