Thinking of buying a mix from Mantisplace, it claims tohave this in it....
casein, powered sugar, Bee Pollen, brewers yeast and another ingredient. ANybody ever use it?

Looks kinda like my gut load for fruit flies:

bee pollen
powdered milk
honey
molasses
fruits
fruit juice
reptile vitamins dissolved in some of the above. Then just soak the entire disgusting slurry in a cotton ball or wool.

There is almost no nutritional value in the casein and powdered sugar though...

Does it matter how much of each? Mantisplace sells the feeder cups with screen lid and a place to put wood chips, and a place for water and some ladder work for food - I'm thinking I can save some $ and use a 2 lb deli cup, poke some hole in it and add stuff to bottom and maybe slather some honey on the side to stick food to it.

Doesnt really matter how much of each, you just need it thin enough that it can be absorbed into cotton ball or wool. If its too thick, it will act like a fly trap, if its too thin, and no cotton, they all drown.

Basically get some fruit juice, dissolve some vitamins in it, then add the other stuff (its all high quality, you can even add some brewers yeast) to thicken it up.
