I'm a huge beardie fan. I have five of my own: 2 orange german giant X blood beardies (F), 1 citrus (M), 1 Yellow beardie (F), and 1 Hypo beardie (M)
I plan to breed these guys late this summer. Probably just start with a pair see how everything goes then breed the next pair, so on and so forth.... All of my dragons are unrelated except for the german giants so i can breed holdback offsprings from the beardies i wish to keep...
Their diet: crickets (every other month i use them for a staple), silkworms, roaches(staple diet i cycle through five diff. kinds of roaches for them), romaine lettuce, collard greens, and bannana.
supplements: i use Sticky Tongue Farms miner-All, rep-cal ultrafine Calcium supplement
All of my feeder insects are gutloaded with combinations of oranges, apples, romaine lettuce, sweet potatoe, carrots, cat food (for the roaches)
I use all Reptisun 10.0 bulbs for my beardies, and zoo-med halogen basking lights some are 75W and some are 150 W... I keep the basking sites between 95-100 degrees and 85 degrees on the cool side of the enclosures...
For the substrate i use alphalpha meal pellets (completely digestible). I also have undertank heating elements that help to increase the ambiant air temps.
Their tank furnishings include mopani driftwood, old sterilized deer skulls, bricks, smooth river rocks, and some plants in some tanks
yah i def. plan to brumate them. When i do it, i just kind of play it by ear because they can kind of tell you when theyre ready. I cut back their lighting to 8 hours a day when theyre brummating and only feed them silkies and hornworms (if they want to eat anything at all)
how can i post pictures of my beardies on a reply?
Posted Some Pics of a couple of my beardies in my gallery. Check 'em out!

For those of us that don't know much about Bearded Dragons, how many different morphs are there?
Yes, there are an insane amount of morphs of bearded dragons.... all of them are awsome tho!
Yup, My favorite is a leatherback.
We got a pair of them a few months back! Super nice little dragons with the smooth scales... Hopefully we will get some silks once they breed.
