Hi there! Best of luck with your dragons! I personally would house the pair separately, unless you mean that you want 2 females. Otherwise they will continually try to breed. I use a UVB (but they can have the coil type), as well as a floodlight for the heat. My temps are from 86-100 degrees - I have 2 females in the same cage (custom built, it's about 3 1/2 feet wide and 2-3' deep, 3 1/2 ' tall to accomidate the lighting).
Because I have 2 in the same cage, I have 2 basking spots - I use garden bricks to make a pyramid, but I leave the bottom open, as a hole, or a tunnel, which is the 86 end of the basking temps. Also, in 1 corner I have a hammock - they sell them in pet stores in the states, it's hard plastic that I use a cup hook to attach to the back corner and sides - one is normally sleeping up there at night.
As for substrate, I use tiles. It's a lot easier to clean than anything else, and bearded dragons can get messy! Maybe it's just mine, but they seem to love to pooh, and then walk through it...
I got my dragons as babies, about 4 years ago, and started them on veggies when they were maybe 8 months old, or 1 year (sorry I don't remember). As for supplimentation, I use the Super Cal from Repashy that I use for my chams but I only feed them every other day, and their lunch gets dusted about 2 feedings a week, maybe 3. They all seem healthy and happy, so hope this info helps!
