I have 2 bearded pygmy chameleons 1 male and 1 female, My male is doing
fine hunting, eating moving all over the cage but the girl is sorta distant from him and sometimes he pulls her tail and knocks her over, is this normal behavior for these or any tpe of chameleon? I read that these can be put together in groups of 3. Any help is appreciated.

Is your enclosure big enough for two? Do they have lots of places where they can hide from eachother if they want? Do they have to eat from the same feeding area?

currently they are in a 10 gallon tank and they have a log some vine and a nice pothos ivy, I am going to add some more plants in a couple of days, I hope that is better:) He eats readily and she is I am pretty sure but I never see her. They are currently eating crickets as they runa round the cage and they have the same water dish

Ditch the water dish. Most chams won't drink standing water, and you'll end up with dead crickets and bacteria in there. Mist the plants and chams a couple of times a day and they will drink that way. Read the two excellent articles Brad sent.

WATER DISH? Ditch it as said above-I hope you are misting or your poor little ones are dehydrating. Is there a possibility you have 2 males?

Why ditch the water dish, i have always used a dish as well as misting 3-4 times a day and have seen my cham drink from it surely it's common sence to remove and clean daily as we all would with any animals we keep.

they seem to be doing better now i mist them every chance i get.thanks for
all your input. As far as the pair, one has a long tail and and one has a short tail, when I asked for them I stated that I did want one of each, I think I have a very timid female is all and the male is certainly aggresive.
