Behavior change...?

Recently, my cham has been crawling all over the cage. Mostly near the door like he wants to get out. He's not hanging out under his lights like he usually does? What do I do? Do i let him out and let him wander around? or do i Just keep him inside?

Have you recently felt depress yourself. Perhaps isolated,as if no one in the world were exactly like YOU. I often feel restless myself. As if only the sensation of marching ,traveling, exploring on is the only source Luton the the mystery of life. Perhaps you have felt the urge to wander, to escape somehow , to leave like no one else could. To see what hath never been seen. To learn what hath never been learned. We are trueLy on our own.

You could try opening the door and see if he comes out. How old is he? Is he in an appropriate sized cage with lots of walking around space? Sometimes they'll climb the screen if there isn't enough other stuff to climb, and sometimes they just want to come out and explore. My guy comes to the front door when he wants to come out. Do you handle your guy often? Does he have a free range area?

hes about 6 months old. I usually leave the door open to let him know that its a safe area. I have a 2X2X4 cage. So its plenty big for him. He crawls out on the door and tries to climb on a coat rack I have next to the cage. I handle him usually every other day. I have a big palm tree in the cage along with other vines and branches. Im wondering if its too crowded for him and he cant crawl around as much The tree takes up most of the enclosure

It sounds like he's just exploring then. You could try trimming the tree down or rearranging and see if that helps him get around a bit more but it sounds like he just wants to adventure. My guy does the same as yours. I leave the door open after feeding and he'll climb out onto the door and then usually across the blinds. Then I'll move him over to this big shelving rack I have vines and stuff attached to for him. Hell usually spend about 30 minutes on there before he starts to get cold so I put him back and he just chills and basks.
