Hey

I need some help with my 1.1 picasso panthers they are ca three nd a half month old, I got them when they were about three weeks old. They have repti glo 10.0 uvb (60cm) long and a repti glo 2.0 (60cm) long and one personal basking light each. ( They live in separate cages ) temprature is 22C on the bottom and 32C under the basking light i mist three times a day.

cage sice 30 *30*45 cm ( 45 cm is the height)

Soo to the problem.

Suddenly they didnt drink as well as before and i noticed they both had white in there nose holes? and found out that was a sign of dehydration. They are have super appetite and load there food every day with t rex chameleon. This problem started ca a week ago and they have been on and off with the white in theyr nose. Before the week all this happened they were drinking very much and i saw them drinking well every day, but now they just lick a couple of times when im around, they are drinking more than that but not enough tho. And i feel their beahviour has changed a little bit but i cant really see what it is :(. im not handeling them now or anything i leave them much alone. And one more thing when i come to see them they have a very dark coloration but when i enter they will change to that "normal" coloration.
And i dont think it adds up beacuse they shouldnt be happy to see me :p if you know what i mean, or am i wrong by the meanings of the different coloration they show.

The male changed skin at 22 March and the female changed 13 march

Hope you folks understands my english im from Norway you see :)

Use less of the T-Rex Chameleon dust. The white on their noses is them excreting the extra powder.

It is :s I didnt know that, thank oyu for the help, im sure i read some places that when they got the white " germs" in their nose they were excreting salt from their body, due to dehydration.

You need to be careful using that T-Rex Formula.
It has a lot of D3 in it and a lot of Vitamin A.

These two things can kill your chameleon.
We had a Veiled die earlier this week from D3 poisioning.

Chameleons will excrete excess minerals and vitamins form their nose.

You need other supplements too.
A calcium with D3
A calcium with D3(2-4 times a month
MinerAll(o)
Herptivite(2-4 times a month)
T-rex formula is good in moderation(twice a month)
