I’m going to say a male veiled too. The care of panthers isn’t that much different, but somehow IMO veileds are a bit hardier.

A responsible breeder won’t send them off to a new home until at least 3 months old. The smaller/younger they are, the more fragile and less forgiving of even the smallest error in husbandry. Plus, sometimes the babies can pass away from natural causes of genetic defects and what not.
