hi everyone,
i'm planning to purchase a female juvenile veiled chameleon.
i'd like a female because they are smaller and less aggressive, veiled for hardiness. i understand egg-laying and the associated best practices with females. i have no plans to breed.
i also know that females generally lack such bold and bright coloring as males.
yet i'm wondering, do you have any recommendations for what breed type of veiled females may be most colorful?
on theveiledchameleon.com they offer sunburst, high orange, high yellow, and turquoise, obviously showing pics of the male sires. http://www.theveiledchameleon.com/?page_id=1185
i appreciate if you share any anecdotal evidence as to whether a certain veiled female breed tend to turn out with more "pizazz" than other females, or if they actually all look similar. if there's no point in me getting a specially bred one for color, then i will just get a basic juvenile.
also, can anyone comment on theveiledchameleon.com being reputable/recommended?
thank you so much for any input!
