Hello!
I am new to this site as well as chameleon ownership, and i am starting a new gut load for my cham. I was wondering if the ingredients I have picked out will work, or if I should add or change some items.
Thanks:)

They are:
Mustard Greens
Almonds
Sweet Potato
Orange
Apple
Carrots
Flax seed

Bug Burger (dry powder! Don't make the wet mix!); Cricket Crack; flax seed; spirulina; bee pollen; brewers yeast; dehydrated milk; alfalfa

Organic spring salad mix for the veggies.

SIMPLE! :D

Purchase Crickets at Petstore

I'm also new to this forum and cant even figure out how to post a question so I'm asking from this thread.
I purchase my crickets from a pet store and they gut feed. I feed them within 3-4 days. Do I still need to gut load?
I want to make sure I'm feeding my veiled properly.
Thanks for any help -

Lol. You high jacked this thread. The answer is yes. You still need to feed your crickets with some high quality food. If your in a pinch you can feed them collard greens and a bunch of other veggies.
Don't feed them anything that's pretty much just water. Ice berg lettuce, celery and I'm sure there's more.

Most of it is usually wasted, by drying out. Fed dry, all has a chance to be eaten. You can manage the portions used better, as a bonus. Lasts twice as long. I can't get the crickets to hardly touch the wet mix, but dry is GONE!

Interesting, I use the wet mix. I use beer caps as scoops and food bowls. I keep about fifty crickets at a time and replace it everyday with fresh food and beer cap(since I have plenty). They always eat it all and i dont have waist. Its also nice because its all in one(food/water) just get you portions down

Hey Alex, just because your crickets enjoy the beer in the cap doesn't make it right!

CHEERS!

I just tried putting the gutload in dry instead of mixing it and the crickets were all over it. They polished it off. I always throw some out when I mix it. Thanks for the tip.
