So I need to add some more isopods to the bioactive set up, already have springtails and 1 box of isopods (not sure which ones) already in the setup,

what are the best types to add ? are the all Cham safe ? And where in the Uk is the best place to pick them up, I’ve looked online but no many places have them

thanks in advance 👍🏽

Maybe @jamest0o0 could advise on what type.

Thanks guys, seen some mad prices on some nice looking isopods, granted they all do the same job but I can’t believe how expensive some are, going up to £90 is a lot 😂

I’ve had great success with dairy cow and dwarf white isopods for my bioactive setups.
Dairy cows are super active and help keep things clean, while dwarf whites hide more but are great for aerating the substrate. If you’re looking for a good place to get them, postpods.co.uk has a solid selection. Their isopods arrive in great shape, and I’ve had no issues with quality or shipping.
