Best source for fake plants

Hey all, I'm getting a new 2x2x4 cage for my newly acquired veiled chameleon, Theodore.
I'm going to be making use if the 50 feet of bio vine I have and I wanted to spruce it up with some fake plants.
I ordered some cannabis jungle plants that I thought were going to be silk material, but turns out they are plastic.. I hate the way the plastic leaves look.
So I'm obviously looking specifically for the silk material leaves to add to his new enclosure, I just wanted to know if anyone knows specifically where to find these.
I can find then at Petsmart but everything in that store is overpriced and I'm on a budget.
So if anyone can source me an online vendor that would be great.
And of course if anyone is wondering, I will be adding live plants, just want to fill some permanent space.

I don't really have experience with fake plants but perhaps somewhere like Joann Fabrics or Michael's would have silk plants you like? I do know Joann has some pretty realistic stuff sometimes when I walk by and they almost always have sales going on, 40-60% off stuff.

I had some silk plants but took them out and replaced with real ones. I would just go with real ones, they have so many more benefits.

plants

Canvas Chameleons sells some very nice silk plants.

They are a nice group and are also a site sponsor here.
They ship quickly as well.

Good luck.

Why fake plants. Live is better all around for several reasons.
1) More natural environment
2) If spare crickets get hungry they don't bite chams they eat plants
3) They allow drip cup and mister water excess a place to go.
4) There are several variety that also vine and trellis and can be trained into functional climbing areas.
lots more. If you need help with safe plant choices there is an entire list on our forum.
I personally do not have any fake plants in their cages but I do have an artificial ficus outside as one of the free range trees. But that is the only one. I think canvas chams sells these.

I go with Michael's. Any reptile plants for sale are very expensive. But you could go into that store with $15 and be able to furnish a 4 by 3 by 3 1/2 with $5 left. That's what I did.

All great ideas, thanks everyone I'm going to first check the site sponsor. I'll probably check michaels or joann fabrics also.
The reason behind not having ALL live plants is because the soil in the pots can significantly increase the weight dispersion amongst the bottom of the cage, leaving gaps in the tray around the edges letting water and other live insects escape, that's the probably I have with my ficus in the cage right now.
But I'll definitely check into safe vine plants for the cages, anyone know specifically any safe live vine plants for the cage because the pothos? I have two pothos in each cage currently

I have had good luck ordering fake foliage for my bird aviaries and cages from websites rather than buying retail. Do a search on "silk foliage"...there are all sorts of sites that offer sprays of many different designs, used in store displays, office accessories, for seasonal decorations and parties. They often sell them by entire bushes, single branch sprays, garlands, flowers or just leaves too. Ferns, palms, bouquets, tropicals, trees, topiaries, all sorts of stuff.

Fakes have their uses. If you want to fill in some areas of the cage that just don't work for live plants due to the light or lack of, or you want to provide some visual cover by layering them on one or more sides of the mesh, they can really help.

Just checked out the site sponsor that was mentioned. I personally didn't see much foliage for sale on their site. I go to small local petshoos for foliage. Most items run anywhere from $5-$15. Not too bad.

Check out Nearly Natural, they mostly have silk plants, flowers, and trees. We use them quite frequently in free ranges and in our cage setups!
