gotta be crickets or dubia which most people breed their own colonies of the dubia. I for one do not but I know crickets are cheap if you buy them in bulk and not in small quanities from the pet store. you can feed silks too but unless you breed our own, they are not cheap!
Does a large quantity mean something that will last for a long time or something to feed a lot of animals over a short time?
I usually have 1000 crickets on hand at any time. For large crickets, I use LLLReptile. They are very reliable and reasonably priced. I've been ordering crickets from them for years.
I don't think small crickets ship very well. I tend to get a lot of die off. So lately I've been buying small crickets locally whenever possible.
But 3/4 inch crickets are only going to live for 1-2 months once you get them. I don't think I've ever tried to keep crickets for more than 3 weeks though as I try to feed them all out before many of them produce wings and start chirping.

i meant for one pet. i got from petco about... 500 every 5 weeks but i canceled my CC and they thought i was trying to commit some kind of fraud cuz they dont let me use my name anymore
