Best time to feed?

I'm a bit lost really because i've been feeding my veiled at the same time I feed my leopard geckos which is at 5-6 oclock I do this because its starting to become dark by then etc but i'm thinking as my veiled sleeps during the night and not the day when would be the best time to feed him?

I would think the best time to feed him is after he/she has had sufficient time to warm up during the day. Maybe 3-4 hours after your lights come on. My chams are on my night owl schedule (2pm to 2am) and they eat very well. I feed both during the course of my day and neither had trouble. Perhaps make sure your cham has enough heat during the day. Just a thought. I also have 2 leopard geckos and they eat when they decide they are hungry. Make sure your veiled's feeding time is at a point where he/she is hungry.

If there is light in the room where your chams are, meaning windows and natural light, I would think the 2PM-2AM schedule would be stressful-since they would be up from daylight until 2AM. I follow the sun-up/sun-down routine here.

I try to feed my guys in the morning. It allows them the rest of the day to bask and raise their temperatures to aid in the digestion process. Also allows them time to hunt down all the loose crix in the cage before lights out at night.

Even if there is not a window, the know when it is day and when it's night.
This is not an ideal situation at all.

Your chams need to be fed in the morning.
They need to be able to bask and raise their body temperature for several hours to digest their food properly.
