Best Veiled misting/watering method?

I am getting ready to move my Lazy Basker to a 4ft viv.

I have a monsoon misting system currently and have noticed some dehydration.
He seems to respond better to drippers. So i currently use both.
Has anyone else had experience with this?

In addition to that i want advice on how to place my mister nozzles in his new viv.
Should they be on top of the screen to create a more rain effect or inside?
pointed down or 45, or 90 degree angle?

All suggestions are appreciated!

I had a monsoon and have had 5 they just keep misting and then it floods I use a dripper and arranged it on top so it drips down the leaves into a container at the bottom my veiled loves it plus I spray several times a day

I am not able to spray several times a day:-/ that's why I got the mister.
Maybe I will just have to do them all when I can...
Leave the mister on like normal, hand mist in the morning and use a dripper before I leave for work... It seems like there has to be a better long term solution though:-(

It sounds like what your doing is great my vet said as long as there pee is a white color and not a yellowish that they're hydrated

Monsoon's are crap. I am on my third one. The first worked ok for a few months, the second crap out of the box and now the third which is working ok for now. I really want to upgrade to mistking or aquazamp but won't be able to for a while as I have other needs that I have to take care of first. If this timer craps out I was planning on getting a seconds timer from mistking and just run the monsoon off of that. Even if I had the best of mistking or aquazamp, I think I would keep a dripper going. I like that there is moving water available at all times especially since a waterfall is a no-no.

I use a waterfall I clean it everyday but I keep it at the bottom hidden because it's good to help keep humidity in my cage but I built a very big custom cage

They are not recommended because of the risk of bacteria and chams like to poop in them. I guess if you are able to clean it every day its ok but if you ever find it a chore and start missing days, take it out. I read about your custom viv in another post about humidity. I wish I had the room for such a big enclosure! I am sure your cham enjoys it. :D

He loves it and if the waterfall becomes to much I will remove it I spend a lot on my Cham but it's worth it to me I just want the best for him
